Cass County parents and caregivers of children newborn through 6 years old are invited to join the Great Start Staff during March’s play groups.

Parents can meet other parents and allow their child to socialize with other children their age. Play Groups will feature “Letter” themed activities for parents to do with their child as well as play areas that encourage their developmental skills.

Each child will take home the book “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom” by Bill Martin Jr. and John Archambault. A snack will also be provided.

Also, join the Great Start staff along with Pam Boepple from the Cass District Library for some nursery rhymes and classic stories along with music and movement and crafts.

Parents and children are welcome to join any or all of the Play Groups and are encouraged to bring along friends and family. There is no cost to attend.

Play groups will be offered from 9:30 to 11 a.m. March 2, 9, 23 and 30.

The Parent Health Expo will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 11.
