I want to give kudos and a big “thank you” to Dowagiac Auto Service for a great Christmas gift, and a sense of relief. My son’s car had some repairs performed by them that were needed in order for him to be safe.

A holiday tradition at Dowagiac Auto Service, the shop gifts some free repair work for a special customer just before Christmas. They completely service a selected person’s car, gratis.

They usually look for Dowagiac residents who are in dire need of car repairs and are a little strapped for money. They prioritize customers that have issues that present a safety risk.

I submitted a letter asking them to consider my son’s car. He drives it from Kalamazoo and back home and his car had some safety issues that needed to be addressed.

They called me and stated they had selected my letter. They fixed all the safety issues on the car at no charge.

I am very fortunate to have met some extremely professional and kind staff at Dowagiac Auto Service. Tom Walker has been extremely patient with my work schedule and is always there to answer my questions. Gary Belardinella, the owner, is also a car dealer and has some amazing used cars in the lot at a very affordable price. In fact, I just bought a car at the dealership and love it!

They are very trustworthy people and seem to truly enjoy helping people.
