The Niles Elks Lodge has planned a Valentine’s evening to remember for the Michiana area.

The evening headliner is Chicago comedian Mike Maxwell, supported by two more Chicago comedians, Peter Daniel and Kimberly (KB) Marion.

On Saturday, Feb. 13, the trio will present a 90-minute show guaranteed to keep people laughing long after the evening ends.

The $15 ticket includes a gourmet appetizer buffet and a delicious dessert bar, compliments of Crumb’s Crossing Bakery.

Doors open at 6:30 with the show starting at 8 p.m.

Headliner Maxwell is a Chicago comedian and regular guest on WGN-720 AM. He has been fortunate to be selected to perform at corporate shows, colleges and universities, comedy clubs, festivals and benefit shows across the world.

Maxwell has worked with BET Comic View host Bruce Bruce, Saturday Night Live alums Finesse Mitchell, Chris Kattan, Dean Edwards and Tim Meadows, and New York Time’s best-selling author Greg Behrendt. Maxwell is a back-to-back finalist for the Great American Comedy Festival in Johnny Carson’s hometown, Norfolk, New England.

“This is our third Valentine’s Day production,” said Julie Clark, trustee chairman at the Elks. “We have stepped it up this year with three Chicago comedians with outstanding reputations. This is the ideal event for people looking to do something special not far from home. And, being conscious of the economy, we’ve kept the price tag very reasonable for a fun evening out that won’t break the bank.”

The Niles Elks Lodge is a fraternal organization committed to assisting children and veterans in the community.

The organization regularly supports athletic teams, Project Graduation, Southside School Prom, veteran’s in the area, school education projects, Holiday food baskets and more. Net proceeds from the event will contribute to the positive work the lodge does in the area.

Tickets are available at the Lodge for $15 and include the appetizer buffet and dessert table. Reservations are suggested.
