Mr. Crosby Donald Wallace “Donnie,” 74, of Elkhart, Indiana, formerly of Cassopolis, Michigan, transitioned over peacefully Friday evening, Feb. 5, 2016, at 9:40 p.m. Crosby was born Feb. 24, 1941, in Calvin Township, Michigan to Robert and Rosa (Timmons) Wallace.

Donnie married Patricia A. Green in 1962 in South Bend, Indiana. Donnie, as everyone knew him, was employed with Crosby Foundry of Elkhart for over forty years until his retirement. After retiring, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Donnie will be forever greatly loved and missed by family and friends. He leaves to cherish his loving memories his two daughters, Rebecca Clifford and Jessica Clifford; two grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Taylor of Elkhart, Indiana; two brothers, Mancil Wallace of Elkhart, Indiana, William “Bill” (Sue) Wallace of Vandalia, Michigan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Donnie was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wallace; his mother, Rosa Wallace Evans; his wife, Patricia Wallace; two sons, Brian Pierre Wallace and Donald Antonio “Tony” Wallace; five brothers, Joseph “Joe” Wallace, Joseph Roundtree, Robert “R.J.” Wallace, Jr., Walter Wallace, Cecil Wallace; and stepfather, Edward Evans.

Family and friends will gather Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 from 12 Noon until time of service at 1 p.m. in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway Street, Cassopolis, with the Reverend Lefate Owens officiating. Mr. Wallace will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Patricia Wallace, in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Cassopolis, Michigan.
