Rose and Greg Wright, of Buchanan, won $50,000 in the Jan. 13 Powerball lottery drawing, according to the Hoosier Lottery.

They purchased the winning ticket at The Pop Shop at 50510 U.S. Highway 33 North in South Bend, Indiana.

This is the lucky couple’s second Powerball win as the Hoosier Lottery reports that the couple won $100,000 playing Powerball in Indiana in 1993.

As a young family, they used the winnings to buy a car, start college funds for their two children and take a family trip to Disney World.

Now, nearly 23 years later, with their children grown and their first two grandchildren on the way, the couple has done it again.

The Wrights plan to use the money to splurge on their grandchildren and take a dream vacation to Alaska, according to lottery officials.
