Bayne C. Bennett, 71, of Buchanan, passed away on Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, at Kindred Hospital, Mishawaka, Indiana.

Bayne was born on Nov. 17, 1944, to Donald C. and Sarah Louise (Mathews) Bennett in Buchanan, Michigan.

He is survived by his children, Shannon Winger, Bayne (Amy) Bennett, Sarah Norman and John Bennett; mother, Sarah Louise Bennett; sister, Donna (John) Hollingsworth and grandchildren, Michael Wayne Allen Zimmerman, Austin James Norman, Denver Allen Winger, Bayne Allen Bennett II, Brooklyn Louise Bennett and Zackary Allen Pagan.

Bayne was preceded in death by his father, Donald C. Bennett; son, Rocky Bennett; brothers, Rocky, Kenneth and Ronald and sister, Zelphia.

Funeral services for Bayne will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
