PORTAGE — Host Portage Northern outscored Niles 46-27 in the first half and went on to a 67-53 win over the Vikings in SMAC West Division action Friday night.

Niles trailed 22-14 after one and 63-38 heading into the final quarter.

Gave Rasler scored a game-high 23 points for the Vikings, who also got 15 points from Tyler Phillips.

Daryn Snow had 22 points for the Huskies.

The Vikings are now 2-12 on the year.
