Cassopolis falls to Centreville 47-22

CENTREVILLE — Visiting Cassopolis was outscored 39-12 over the final three quarters in a 47-22 BCS Athletic Conference Blue Division loss to Centreville Thursday night.

The Rangers (2-13, 2-5 Blue) led 10-8 after one quarter, but trailed the Bulldogs (12-4, 5-3 Blue) 20-14 at the half.

Centreville would take a 33-20 advantage into the final eight minutes of play.

Cassopolis played the fourth quarter without Santaja Gibson, the team’s leading scorer, due to injury.

Despite missing a quarter, Gibson led the Rangers with seven points. Ky’ana Buck finished with six points.

Centreville’s Bailee May scored 16 points to lead all scorers.
