STEVENSVILLE — Host Lakeshore outscored Dowagiac 19-12 in the fourth quarter to earn a 52-37 non-conference boys basketball victory Tuesday night.

The Chieftains trailed the Lancers 34-33 in the fourth quarter, but could not catch Lakeshore.

The Lancers (9-3) led 8-7 after one, while the two teams were deadlocked at 18-18 at halftime.

Lakeshore took a 33-25 advantage into the final quarter.

Dowagiac (10-2) was led by Harry Reed’s 10 points. Brandon Winchester-Jones was held to eight points.

Gibson Archer led all scorers with 17 points for the Lancers.
