Niles falls to Kalamazoo Central

KALAMAZOO — Visiting Niles got outscored 51-29 over the final three quarters as Kalamazoo Central defeated the Vikings 68-38 in a SMAC girls basketball game Tuesday night.

The Vikings (5-7) trailed 17-9 after one quarter of play, but were unable to keep up with the Maroon Giants over the next three quarters.

Niles trailed 33-16 at halftime and 46-26 heading into the fourth quarter.

Jazmin Brann led the Vikings with 15 points, while Emily Games added nine points.

Sadia Johnson led Kalamazoo Central and all scorers with 18 oints.
