Brandywine gets bounce back win against Comstock

The Brandywine boys basketball team rebounded from its first loss of the season to hand Comstock a BCS Athletic Conference 50-39 setback Friday night.

The win kept the Bobcats perfect in the BCS Athletic Conference Red Division (5-00, while Brandywine is now 8-1 overall.

The Bobcats led at every quarter break. Brandywine outscored the Colts 27-22 in the second half to pull away for the win.

Vinny Peel led the Bobcats with 15 points, while Hunter Slaughter added 11 points.

Comstock’s Brian Barnes led all scores with 19 points. Chad Dingman finished with six points.
