A big “thank-you” is in order to the responsible party for taking down the torn and tattered American Flag that had been flying atop the flag pole at Lunker’s.

Taking the time to observe proper flag etiquette by removing a flag that was no longer suitable to be properly displayed is appreciated.

For centuries, the American Flag has been a prominent symbol that people have rallied around, written and sung songs about, saluted, buried our loved ones with, and passed down through generations.

The American Flag is the basic fabric and a constant reminder of the freedoms we as citizens are afforded each and every day. Long may she wave.”
