Cooper-Alexander

Ronee Cooper and Kenneth Alexander, of Niles, are the parents of a son, Damarion Alexander, born at 4:49 a.m. Jan. 13, 2016, at Lakeland-Niles.

Damarion weighed 6 pounds, 11.6 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Damrion has one sister, Tayona Cooper, 15, and one brother, Joshiah Cooper, 13.

Maternal grandparents are Ronald and Sallyann Cooper, of Cassopolis.

Paternal grandparents are Fred Stuart, of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Fredring Alexandar, of Benton Harbor.

 

Cowley

Melisa and Jeffery Cowley, of Dowagiac, are the parents of a son, Elijah Cowley, born at 9:55 p.m. Jan. 8, 2016.

Elijah weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.

Elijah has two sisters: Laura, 6 and Erica, 5.

 

Paulson-Dodd

Airyann Paulson and Lionel Dodd Jr., of Cassopolis, are the parents of a son, AhVell Russell Dodd, born at 8:37 a.m. Jan. 11, 2016, at Lakeland-Niles.

AhVell weighed 9 pounds, 6 ounces and was 21 1/1 inches long.

AhVell has one sister, Avayiah Dodd, 7 and one brother, AhVon Dodd, 2.

 

Wade-Steward

Shane Wade and Richard Steward, of Dowagiac, are the parents of a son, born Jan. 5, 2016, at Lakeland-Niles.

He weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces.

Shane and Richard have three other sons.

Maternal grandparents are Lynn Wade and David Rowe, of Dowagiac and Niles respectively.

Paternal grandparents are Floyd and Vicki Smith, of Dowagiac.

 

Maddox

Katherine Maddox, of Niles, is the new mother of a daughter, born Dec. 28, 2015, at Lakeland-Niles.

She weighed 5 pounds, 3 ounces.

Katherine is also the mother of two sons, Ryland, 3 and Breyden, 2.

Maternal grandmother is Josephine Grooms, of Buchanan.
