Audrey Marie Huston, of Dowagiac, Michigan, passed away on Jan. 19, 2016, surrounded by her family at Borgess Lee Hospital, after a courageous, lengthy battle with cancer, at the age of 80.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at Clark Chapel and Cremation Services, 405 Center St., Dowagiac with Pastor Stacey Wilder officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Dowagiac. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Moose Lodge 933 Charities. Audrey was born on Feb. 18, 1935, to Lawrence & Lillian (Augusta) Starrett in Dowagiac, Michigan. Audrey was united in marriage to Ralph on March 12, 1949. They enjoyed 58 years of marriage together. Audrey worked for many years at Heddons. When they closed she went to work for the City of Dowagiac Utility Office. She was a very proud member of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, serving many years on the Elders Council. Audrey enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling and slipping into the casino occasionally.

Audrey is survived by her son, Scott and his wife Connie; grandchildren, Audra (Mike) Finney, Amanda Kedik, Heather (Joe) Pauley, Beth (Tim) Warner all of Dowagiac; great-grandchildren, Ashlea (Jeremiah), Seth (Mary), Alyssa, Joseph, Caitlon (Jared), Madison, Samantha, Allison, Jackson; great-great-granddaughters, Isla & Lauren and one brother Vic Starrett of Niles.

Audrey is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ralph; one daughter Dixie Morse; son, Ralph Huston, Jr. (Junie) and four siblings.
