Niles wrestlers win Tri-State Border War

DEFIANCE, Ohio — The Niles wrestling team traveled to Ohio and captured the Defiance Tri-State Border War Tuesday.

NilesThe Vikings scored 165 points to easily defeat runner-up Defiance, which scored 147.5 points Miami Trace (Ohio) was third with 146.5 points.

Winning a championship for Niles was Andrew Flick at 113 pounds.

Other Viking players were Cade Stephenson (120) fifth, Brenden Hall (132) fifth, Mitch Findeisen (138) second, Courtland Lambert (145) fifth, Quintin Smith (152) third, Davin Simpson (160) fifth, Dayton Smith (170) eighth and Cody Glick (195) fifth.
