July 27, 1968 — July 13, 2015

Cheryl Ann McClain, 46, of Vandalia, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015, at her home.

Cheryl was born July 27, 1968 in Three Rivers, the daughter of Ralph and Dorothy (Whitmyer) McClain. She is preceded in death by her father; daughter, Makayla; and brother, Richard Meade.

Cheryl enjoyed coming over and spending time with her family, especially with her niece Abby. She always had a particular interest in animals, especially her dog Zeus. She enjoyed spending time outdoors having bonfires and barbeques.

Cheryl will be greatly missed by family and friends. Cheryl is survived: by her mother, Dorothy McClain; one brother, Terry (Maria) McClain; two sisters, Fran (Meade) Herndon and Helen Louise McClain; niece, Abigail; cousin, Carrie Hughes; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

A graveside service will be held at Poe Cemetery, Newberg Township, at a later date.
