Dowagiac 10U All-Stars second at Berrien Springs

The Dowagiac 10U All-Stars finished second at Berrien Springs last weekend. The Dowagiac 10U All-Star softball team wrapped up play as it took second place last weekend at the Berrien Springs All-Star Tournament.

In the first game, Dowagiac came back from being 10 runs down to beat host Berrien Springs 15-14.

Dowagiac advanced to the final game by beating Hartford 17-16. Dowagiac had a 16-14 lead going into the last inning, but Hartford rallied to tie the score at 16-16. Dowagiac scored a run in the bottom of the sixth as Jessa Davis scored on a passed ball to win the game.

Dowagiac was defeated by Bridgman, which ended up winning the tournament.

Calley Ruff, Caleigh Wimberley and Chasity Ruiz were chosen for the All-Tournament team.
