Shirl Marie Oehler Ali, 56, of Cairo, Egypt, formerly of Niles, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015, in Cairo.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 11, at Bowerman Funeral Home in Eau Claire, where friends may call beginning at 10 a.m. Reverend Billy Long of Apostolic Tabernacle, Benton Harbor, will officiate. Shirl was born Aug. 12, 1958, in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Louis and Bernice (Beenstra) Oehler. She was a former employee of Denny’s Restaurant, where she had worked for 20 years.
She is survived by her husband, Ashrif Ali of Cairo, Egypt; son, Howard “Danny” Post of Koontz Lake, Indiana; daughter, Candice Post of Niles; two brothers, William Oehler of Sodus and Michael Oehler of Benton Harbor; seven grandchildren: Matthew Shindeldecker, Jazmine, Jada, and Jordan Abrams, Dakota, Ethan, and Chase Post; one great-grandchild, Zayden Shindeldecker; four nieces and three nephews.
