Susan G. Lalime

She was born on June 23, 1952, in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Donald R. and Wilma J. (Shade) Wagner.

Sue graduated from Elkhart Central High School and shortly thereafter received her beautician certification.

On Sept. 28, 1974, Sue married Larry Lalime at a ceremony in Elkhart. After a few years passed Sue became a nurse’s aid, where she worked for over 12 years at Memorial Hospital, assisting in the labor and delivery and enjoyed her ability to love each child placed in her arms.

Sue also helped to share in the love of dogs with others, breeding shelties and labs for many years. She enjoyed collecting Native-American items and was gifted at making jewelry.

Sue loved her family and found time spent with them to be her greatest treasure.

Those whose lives were touched by Sue will fondly remember her as a devoted, selfless and kind lady who was the loudest fan for her family – cheering them on to strive for the very best.

She is survived by her husband Larry Lalime of Niles, two sons Jason (LeAnna) Lalime of Edwardsburg, Cory (Shelley) Lalime of Edwardsburg, four grandchildren; Alexis, Madison, Addison and Kaitlynn Lalime, three brothers Stephen (Sandy) Wagner of Elkhart, Dennis (Vivian) Wagner of Elkhart and Jeffrey (Bridgette) Wagner of Goshen, as well as many nieces and nephews.
