On June 27, the Dowagiac Moose Lodge, along with Dowagiac IT3, is offering its first child identification day.
We believe this is an opportunity that all parents should take advantage of, and we appreciate these entities for hosting this event.
The EZ Child ID program will offer participants with identification cards and CDs storing vital information, and they’re doing it completely free of charge.
With identity theft occurring more and more all over the United States, plenty of people are hesitant to input their family’s personal information into any sort of computer system. However, the folks at Dowagiac IT3 and the Moose Lodge have ensured that all records are deleted as soon as CDs are burned, so as long as the discs are kept in a safe place, such as a safe or a lock box, they will remain secure.
Despite the potential risks, the services these identification cards and discs provide in case of a missing child are invaluable.
Nobody wants to think about the possibility of their child or a loved one’s child going missing, and though a very small percentage of children ever have to use the identification cards, it is always better to be safe than sorry.
In the event that a tragedy like this does occur, time is so very valuable, and the products created by the EZ Child ID program speed up the process of location missing children tremendously.
With this service being offered completely free of charge with safety precautions being taken to protect everyone’s identities involved, everyone who is able should take advantage of this service, and help support the business and organization offering it at the next available opportunity.
