Smith, Garner first team All-BCS in soccer

Brandywine senior Brooke Smith and junior Jaleesa Garner were first team All-BCS Athletic Conference soccer first team selections.

Buchanan’s Clara Cornwell and Jada Meahl were also first team selections, along with Cassopolis’ Kortenie Suggs, Lotte Peterson and Madeline Ruff.

Lake Michigan Catholic’s Sarah McCoy was named player of the year and Ed Maher coach of the year.

Brandywine goalkeeper Sloan Kangas and Mia Stella were both named honorable mention.

Buchanan’s Alyssa Rausch and Cassopolis’ Marissa Waldschmidt and Melody Cutting.
