Sept. 21, 1972 — June 2, 2015

Michelle “Shelly” Gray, 42, of South Bend, passed away June 2, 2015 at South Bend Hospice House after a short battle with breast cancer.

Shelly was born on Sept. 21, 1972, to William and Phyllis (Skinner) Cox in Niles.

After graduating from high school Shelly wed Troy Gray on July 11, 1998, at a ceremony in Granger, Indiana. Together the two had two wonderful children, Christopher and Evan.

Shelly was enjoyed crafting especially making jewelry, beading and scrapbooking. She was always with friends or family and loved her time with her boys.

Shelly is survived by her husband Troy; sons, Christopher and Evan Gray; parents William and Phyllis Cox of Granger, Indiana and brother Christopher (Becky) Cox of South Bend, Indiana and countless extended family and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Niles.
