Joseph “Joe” Bostwick, 70, of Cassopolis, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 with his family by his side.

Joe was born on January 10, 1945 to the late L.D. and Lucille (Wickenhishser) Bostwick of Flint, Michigan.

Joe was diagnosed, as a boy, with Polio. He overcame great adversity and was employed by Warren Stamping (Chrysler) as a sheet metal worker for 26 years.

On Feb. 26, 1979, Joe wed Sandra Reddaway at a ceremony in Romulus, Michigan.

Joe had a passion for hunting, fishing, collecting coins and football cards; he enjoyed spending time with his family up north and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents L.D. Bostwick and Lucille Reynolds; two brothers and step-son; Fredrick Joe Marshall.

Joe is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sandra of Cassopolis; daughter, Kim Blair and three grandchildren; Brianna Blair, Zackary Marshall and Alexander Marshall; five brothers and four sisters.

A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
