Thomas F. Horrall, 67, of Cassopolis, died peacefully Monday afternoon, May 25, 2015, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka.

He was born Feb. 9, 1948, in Dowagiac, Michigan to Ralph and Isabelle (Hartman) Horrall. His parents preceded him in death.

Tom graduated from Ross Beatty High School in Cassopolis. He worked for eighteen years as a farrier. Tom owned Double Duty Conversions, a pioneer in horse trailer conversions that he started in his garage by replacing a pickup truck bed with a camper using a design that he patented. For almost thirty years he was fully committed to his business and his employees. Tom was a hard worker, but he also made time for other passions, including white water rafting, watching bull riding, and going to amusement parks. Though he didn’t have a lot of free time, he always managed to carve out time for his grandchildren. Tom was thoughtful and creative and he loved his family very well.

Thomas will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his fiancée, Linda Holtz of Cassopolis; two sons, Matthew Horrall of Gilmer, Texas, Peter (Angel) Horrall of Northville, Michigan; five grandchildren, Kyle Horrall of Hockley, Texas, Angelina Maesylynn Horrall, Bentley Horrall, Gianna Horrall, Colton Emilio Thomas Horrall; three sisters, Bonnie (Dale) Schmidtendorff of Vandalia, Connie Pass of Niles, Pennie (James) Ricketts of Hillsboro, Indiana; one brother, Danny (Penny) Whitmyer of Dowagiac; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 5 until p.m. in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway Street, Cassopolis. Mr. Horrall will be laid to rest in Young’s Prairie Cemetery in Penn Township in a graveside service Friday, May 29, 2015 at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Larry Settle officiating.
