Thomas Charles ‘Tiny’ Albright, 57 years old, of Union, Michigan, and formerly of Edwardsburg, passed to his rest May 17, 2015, at his home, surrounded by his family, after a long battle with colon cancer. He was born June 30, 1957, in South Bend, the son of August, Sr. and Darleen (Bowker) Albright and has lived in this area all of his life.

Tom was an auto mechanic and had a repair service in Edwardsburg before moving to Union. He loved to work on cars and trucks, both as a living and as a hobby. Most recently he worked at Campbell Ford-Lincoln in Niles. He liked to bowl, but his favorite past-time was golfing. He was a member of Four Lakes Country Club in Edwardsburg, where he held Club Champion in 2006.

Tom was married in 1983 in Cassopolis, to Cherean R. Ward, and she survives with their children, Michael (Amanda) Albright of Elkhart, Brian (Melissa) Albright of Edwardsburg and Angela (Matthew) Golden of Almont, Michigan. There are six grandchildren. Other family are his sisters, Kay (Terry) Hunt of South Bend, Becky Gross of Niles, and his brothers, Craig Albright, August Albright, Jr. and Ernest Albright all of Niles and Edward (Yvette) Albright of Edwardsburg.

There will be a ‘Reflection-of Tom’s-Life’ on Friday, May 22, 2015, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Edwardsburg American Legion, Post 365, 25751 US-12, East. At 6 p.m. an Eulogy Service will be directed by Rev. Jeff Reese, Pastor of Hope United Methodist Church, for anyone who wishes to speak.

Cremation has taken place, and Tom will be taken back with his family, to his home. Memorial Donations are to be made to a golfing organization called, ‘First Tee’ (www.thefirsttee.org) 718 East Calvert St., South Bend, IN 46613.
