What has been one of your greatest accomplishments as an athlete?

SB: Being named to the all-conference team and all-district team last season.

 

What has been one of your biggest disappointments as an athlete?

SB: Losing to Buchanan in districts last year.

 

What has been a hardship in your life?

SB: My grandmother passing away back in 2010.

 

Who is a “hero” in your life and why?

SB: My dad, because he’s a very hard worker.

 

When are you the most nervous while you are competing?

SB: I’m most nervous when I’m competing either when a fly ball is hit to me or when I’m up to bat.

 

Describe an embarrassing athletic moment.

SB: I’d have to saying falling down this year while I was getting my secondary lead at Marcellus.

 

How do you tend to workout/train when by yourself?

SB: I tend to listen to my music pretty loud while I workout by myself.

 

What other sport would you like to compete in if you were not playing yours?

SB: Another sport I’d like to compete in if I wasn’t playing baseball would either be lacrosse or track. Those are two sports have always somewhat drawn my attention.

 

Who would you say is your “biggest fan?” Why?

SB: My biggest fan would probably be my step-sister Avery because she really looks up to me.

 

How would you give away $50,000?

SB: I’d give $50,000 away to cancer research because my grandmother passed away from cancer and I wish there was a cure for it.

If you could be the head coach of a team for a year, what team would you choose?

SB: If I could be the head coach of a team for a year, I’d probably choose the New York Yankees.

 

If I did not play sports, I would…?

SB: I would probably play more video games and sleep less.

 

What is the most challenging thing for you to do in your sport?

SB: The most challenging thing for me to do in my sport is to hit line drives the opposite way.

 

If you could change one rule about your sport, what would it be?

SB: If I could change one rule about my sport, it would be that everybody has to use wooden bats.

 

What is the best compliment you have ever received?

SB: The best compliment I have ever received would probably have to be that I’m very athletic.

 

What was the scariest thing you have had to do? Are you glad you did it?

SB: The scariest thing that I ever had to do would probably be killing a spider, and yes I’m glad that I did it because it kind of helped me overcome a fear.

 

What was the last thing you saw someone do that really impressed you?

SB: The last thing that I saw somebody do that impressed me was my teammate Jeshua (Wiese) hitting a ground rule double against Homer.

 

What is your favorite hobby? Why?

SB: My favorite hobby would probably be hanging out with my teammates.
