Jada Meahl scored five goals, including a first half hat trick, as host Buchanan defeated Berrien Springs 9-1 in non-conference soccer Monday.

Meahl scored in the eighth, 33rd and 34th minute in the opening half. She scored in the 41st and 79th minute in the second half.

The Bucks (5-2-3) also got a pair of goals and an assist from Clara Cornwell. Marissa Claxton and Jasmine Doughterty also scored.

Buchanan outshot the Shamrocks 52-1.
