Aubrey Huston is a senior on the Dowagiac varsity baseball team.
What has been one of your biggest disappointments as an athlete?
AH: Only winning one district championship out of four years of sport.
What has been one of your greatest accomplishments as an athlete?
AH: Being named captain.
Who is a “hero” in your life and why?
AH: My parents for pushing and coaching me in all my sports and their support.
When are you the most nervous while you are competing?
AH: When I’m in a close game.
Describe an embarrassing athletic moment.
AH: When I miss the ball.
How do you tend to workout/train when by yourself?
AH: I just work out hard.
Who would you say is your “biggest fan?” Why?
AH: My parents. They are always there to support me and cheer me on.
How would you give away $50,000?
AH: I would give it to the sports department so they could make the field better.
If you could be the head coach of a team for a year, what team would you choose?
AH: The Chicago Cubs.
If I did not play sports, I would…?
AH: I would be hunting and working out.
What is the most challenging thing for you to do in your sport?
AH: To win every game.
If you could change one rule about your sport, what would it be?
AH: To have four strikes.
What was the scariest thing you have had to do? Are you glad you did it?
AH: Being up to bat and then getting hit by the ball in the face. Yes, I was scared.
What is your favorite hobby? Why?
AH: Sports, working, hanging out.
