MENDON — Visiting Brandywine split with Mendon in BCS Athletic Conference non-divisional softball Tuesday.

The Bobcats (7-6) defeated the Hornets 8-2 in the first game before falling to Mendon 7-2 in the nightcap.

Morgan Crocker picked up the win as she scattered eight hits and two runs.

Crocker also doubled, while Michaela Hartline tripled for Brandywine, which finished with nine hits.

In the second game, Cassie Plummer held the Bobcats to five hits.

Kelly Harper took the loss for Brandywine.

Harper and Crocker both doubled.
