The Niles District Library will be closed Monday through Saturday, May 2, for renovation work.

The $120,000 project, which began in January, will add more meeting space and an improved area dedicated to teenagers.

Even though the library is closed, it will still offer the following events offsite:

• Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. — Olive Branch Book Club: “Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea”

It will be held at the Brass Eye Cocktail Lounge 205 N. 2nd St. Niles. To register and pick up your book, come to the library’s Information Desk or call (269) 683-8545 ext. 112. You do not need a library card to join.

• Wednesday — Storytime in the Park!

Storytime will be going on the road. Meet the library at Riverfront Park by the playground equipment, and bring a blanket. The event will be cancelled if it’s raining.

— 10:30 a.m. Squigglers

— 10:30 a.m. Dance Party!

— 11:00 a.m Storytime

• Thursday at 6:30 p.m. — Professional Development and Networking: Vision Setting

It will be held at the Four Flags Area Chamber of Commerce, 321 East Main St.

Individual and corporate strategic planning has been around for ages, but most plans lack passion. This presentation will help participants realize the power of a vision and start the journey to success.

• Saturday at 11 a.m. — Pop-up library

It will be held at Rural King, 2707 South 11th St.
