A Brandywine High School student is among several students who received scholarships from Martin’s Super Markets.

Brandywine’s Stephanie Collins received an achievement scholarship through the Niles Martin’s store.

The local grocery chain announced the recipients of the company’s $1,000 Martin’s Achievement Scholarships and $2,000 Martin’s Dependent Scholarships Wednesday.

The scholarships are awarded to Martin’s employees and their dependents on an annual basis and are based on academic records, test scores and extracurricular activities.

Martin’s Super Markets was founded in 1947 and currently has 21 stores in South Bend, Mishawaka, Granger, Elkhart, Plymouth, Logansport and Warsaw, Indiana. Its Michigan stores are in Niles, Stevensville and St. Joseph.
