3 injured after vehicle collides with county bus outside Cassopolis

Three people are injured after the van they were traveling in collided with a Cass County Public Transportation bus on the outskirts of Cassopolis Thursday afternoon.
According to authorities on the scene with the Michigan State Police Department, the accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Pokagon Highway and Dailey Road. Police say that the bus was heading eastbound on Pokagon when it smashed into a Chrysler Town and Country minivan traveling south down Dailey Road.
The driver and the three passengers inside the vehicle were transported to area hospitals for treatment following the accident. The driver and single passenger of the county bus received minor injuries and were released at the scene.
Michigan State Police authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident at this time.
