The Niles-Buchanan YMCA is thanking the Niles Four Flags Apple Festival for sponsoring Kids Night Out.

This is the second year the Four Flags Apple Festival has sponsored the youth program. This year, the Niles Four Flags Apple Festival board voted to fund the Niles-Buchanan YMCA $1,500 to assist in covering the costs of Kids Night Out.

Kids Night out is a popular program with our youth and their parents. This program provides children a safe and fun-filled evening.

Scheduled one Saturday a month, parents get the opportunity to enjoy a night together while their children enjoy planned activities. Dinner of fresh fruit, veggies, and pizza are provided.

“The Niles Four Flags Apple Festival is proud to support Kid’s Night Out at the YMCA,” said Jenna Rhynard, associate board member of the Four Flags Apple Festival. “Kids are a big part of our community. Being able to help provide a safe and fun night out for kids is something that is important to the festival board members and volunteers.”

The next Kids Night Out is scheduled for 4:30 to 9 p.m. March 14. Youth must be ages five to 12 years old to participate. Cost is $15 a child. For more details about this event, contact the Niles-Buchanan YMCA at (269) 683-1552.
