DC Sluggers qualify for BPA World Series

The DC Sluggers have qualified for the Baseball Player Association (BPA) World Series following their victory at the Lighthouse Classic in Michigan City this past weekend.

On Saturday, The Sluggers edged the Michiana Slammers 7-6 and the Michiana Blackhawks 15-10 to earn the top seed for Sunday.

In the semifinals, the Sluggers blew out the Slammers 12-2 and defeated the Blackhawks in the championship game 9-5.
