Local Sorority Xi Delta Mu, represented by Ruth Reiss, donated $250 to the Dowagiac Backpack Program. Accepting the check for the program are Alex McIntosh and Rebecca Franklin, Dowagiac Middle School sixth-grade student council members. The student council packs 16 backpacks every week.
