The Dowagiac branch of the U.S. Postal Service held its annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday, May 10. This year, local residents donated 8,300 pounds of food, up from the 7,475 volunteers with the post office collected last year. The items were distributed to food pantries from five local churches, ACTION Ministry Network, St. Vincent de Paul, St Paul’s Episcopal Church, First Christian Church and Keeler Church of God.
