Brandywine wins Division 3 Regional crown

CONSTANTINE — The Brandywine boys track team edged Watervliet to win the Division 3 Regional championship at Constantine High school Friday night.

The Bobcats, led by four-time regional champion Andrew Duckett, finished with 86 points.

The Panthers were runner-up with 82 points and Berrien Springs was third with 75.

Duckett won both the 110-meter high hurdles (15.333) and 300-meter intermediate hurdles (40.81) as well as the long jump (19-11).

He was also a regional champion in the 1,600-meter relay along with Nathan Anders, Michael Robbins and Matt Kline.

Anders also finished second in both hurdle events and the long jump.
