Martin 60th anniversary

Earnest and Joann (Fred) Martin celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last week.

Ernest and Joann were married May 1, 1954, in Angola, Ind. They renewed their vows at Christ the King Catholic Church on their 40th anniversary in 1994.
Ernest and Joann have three children, Pamela, Ernest II and Brian. They have eight grandchildren (one deceased) and nine great-grandchildren.
Earnest retired as superintendent at Buchanan Steel Products. Joann retired as a cosmetologist and cosmetology instructor.
They reside in Niles.
