Sandra A Frantz , 77, of Niles, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles.

Sandra was born on Oct. 8, 1936, to Donald and Helen Hanlin in Buchanan, Mich. On June 26, 1954, she married Kenneth Frantz, Sr. at a ceremony in Buchanan.
She enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo. She was a wonderful mother and woman. She will be greatly missed by all.
Sandra is survived by three children, Kenneth Frantz Jr., of Grand Island, Fla., Dawn (Dave) Valentine of Niles and Kandice Cowen of Niles; eight grandchildren, Jason (Amanda) Nicodemus, Donald (Olga) Nicodemus, E. Jay Cowen, Jennifer Cowen, Amber Valentine, Ashley (Albert) Witt, Kenneth (Sarah) Frantz, and Kristy Frantz; and 13 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Sr., parents, and two brothers, Merton and Patrick Hanlin.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014, at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in Niles. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home of Buchanan.
