Ronald Galbreath, Sr.
Ronald Dean Galbreath, Sr., 74, of Niles passed away on April 17, 2014, at home with his family. He was born on Oct. 12, 1939m to Darold and Maude Miller Galbreath in Niles.
Ron worked at Studebaker and Clark Equipment and retired from Lock Joint Tube. On April 22, 1961, he married Joyce Kay Schrimsher at a ceremony in Buchanan. Ron loved hunting, fishing and was very involved with many youth sports.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joyce; three children, Ronald Galbreath, Jr. of Dowagiac, Scott (Heather) Galbreath of Niles, and Dawn (Keith) Krizan of Grand Haven, Mich.; sister, Darlene Maxwell of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Beth (Mike), Ryan (Dianna), Jordan, and Emily; and four great-grandchildren, Makenna, Michael, Blake, and Isabelle; and several nieces and nephews.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Richard and Larry, and his twin, Robert.
Funeral Service for Ron will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan with Jonathon Rose, Hospice at Home Chaplain officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior from 4 to 6 p.m. at Hoven Funeral Home.
