Randolph Scott Sr., 87, of Niles, passed away on April 14, 2014, at home from natural causes.

He was born Aug. 9, 1926, to the union of Susie Mae Copeland and John Adam Scott in Lafayette, Ala. His parents preceded him in death.
He married Clara Lyons on Aug. 19, 1950. The couple was married 61 years upon her passing in August 2012.
He is survived by sons, Gregory Scott and Randolph Scott, Jr.; daughters, Rudean Scott, Jimmie Mae (Anthony) Newton, Caroline (Bill) Boris, Jacquelyn Scott, Sherri Lynn Scott and Tracy Scott; brothers, John Scott (who precedes him in death), Jack Scott; sisters, Louise Abner, Mamie Davis, Betty Scott; many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday April 18, 2014. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan.
