After several off days due to another round of snow and cold, the Dowagiac sports teams head back into action beginning today.

The Chieftain baseball and softball teams will travel to Berrien Springs today to open up Wolverine Conference West Division action.

Both doubleheaders are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.

The Dowagiac tennis team gets back on the court as it hosts Vicksburg in a Wolverine non-divisional match on Friday before it heads to Hamilton on Saturday for an invitational.

The Chietftain soccer and track teams also get back to work after having events cancelled earlier in the week.

The soccer team will host Niles at 10 a.m., while the track team heads to Paw Paw for an invitational.

Field events are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.

To begin next week, Dowagiac tennis will travel to South Haven for a West Division match on Monday, while the soccer team hosts Vicksburg.
