Shirley Ann Hannum, 72, of Niles, passed away at Westwoods of Niles on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, with her family by her side.

Shirley was born on Nov. 29, 1941, to the late Homer and Clemmie (Davis) Cooper in Noah, Tenn.
After high school, Shirley wed and had two children. She worked many years at Franky’s in Niles, Mich. and Pawating (Lakeland) Hospital in Niles.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son Rex Smith and sister Haddy Norton.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Sherry Schram of Niles; eight grandchildren including Jamie (Lee) Clements of Edwardsburg, Mich., Brandi (Eric) Freel of Granger, Ind., Nicholas Mangold of Niles and Dale (Christine) Mangold of Paw Paw, Mich.; several great grandchildren and sister Mina Crowley, of Niles.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel in Niles at 11 a.m. with a time of visitation one hour prior.
