ST. JOSEPH — Paige Szlanfucht scored the tying goal in the 43rd minute as visiting Edwardsburg forced a 1-1 tie with St. Joseph in non-conference girls soccer Thursday night.

St. Joseph (1-0-2) grapped a 1-0 halftime lead on a goal by Sarah Corbe in the third minute.

The Eddies (1-0-1) were outshot by the Bears 12-1 with Alexis Blake stopping 11 shots for Edwardsburg.
