Walter Gorham
Walter J. Gorham, 86, of Dowagiac died in the comfort of his home on March 24, 2014.
Walt was born Sept. 15, 1927 to Winifred and Walter E. Gorham of Dowagiac. He was an Army Veteran. He married Marguerite Baldwin on Nov. 1, 1950.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara; a brother, Richard; and a daughter, Karla Gorham.
He is survived by his wife, Marguerite; a sister, Frances Simpson; two sons, Barry Gorham and Ward Gorham; three daughters, Sandra Smith, Yvonne Kolher and Melanie Rice; four grandchildren, Rhonda Byrd, Tyler Kolher, Cole and Clay Rice; as well as two great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St., Dowagiac. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
