THREE RIVERS  — It was no contest at the Wolverine Conference Meet at Three Rivers Saturday.

Allegan won its 12th straight league championship by easily outdistancing runner-up Three Rigers 264-162. Edwardsburg finished third with 142 points and Dowagiac was 11th with 23.

The Tigers claimed eight individual championships, including Kyle Simaz at 145-pounds.

Simaz won four consecutive Wolverine championships and finished his career 158-0 at conference dual meets and tournaments.

Edwardsburg claimed one championship as Hunter Vargo defeated Joey Orr of Allegan 13-5 at 119-pounds. The Eddies’ Dustin Vires finished second at 125-pounds. Blake Parsons was second at 189.

Dowagiac’s Tristan Howard finished second at 285-pounds.
