Marjorie V. (Farrow) Harger, 87, of Dowagiac, passed away, Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014 at Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital, Dowagiac.

Marjorie was born Aug. 2, 1926 in Dowagiac. She lived in Dowagiac all of her life. On June 30, 1953 she married Clifford E. Harger in Benton Harbor.

Marjorie enjoyed gardening, mowing the grass, taking pictures and videos of everything. She was known for her famous pumpkin pies. Marjorie will be missed by her group of friends at McDonald’s, where she could be found most every day sharing a cup of coffee.

Marjorie loved her church, Grace Apostolic of Decatur, Mich. Her family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the church in her name.

Marjorie is survived by her sister Marion Cleary of Chapel Hill, Tenn., and 13 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Richard, and Jack Farrow, and her husband.
