COLOMA — The Dowagiac wrestling team went 1-1 at the Wolverine Quad hosted by Coloma Wednesday.

The Chieftains fell to the host Comets 39-33 and defeated Comstock 43-23.

Winning two matches on the night for the Chieftains were Nathan Tackett (130), Cody Jenkins (135), Caleb Sands (171) and Tristan Howard (285).

The Chieftains will compete in the Greater Berrien County Invitational at St. Joseph High School Saturday.

Wrestling is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.
