Big second half leads Bridgman past Brandywine

Visiting Bridgman outscored Brandywine 29-12 in the second half to pull away to a 61-36 Lakeland Conference boys basketball victory Friday night.

The Bees (3-1, 1-0 Lakeland) and Bobcats (1-2, 0-1 Lakeland) played a competitive opening 16 minutes of basketball.

Brandywine led 12-11 after one quarter, but trailed Bridgman 32-24 at the half.

It was all Bees in the second half as they opened up a 45-32 lead heading to the final quarter.

Andrew Duckett led the Bobcats with 10 points, Austin Knapp finished with seven.

Nick Knowlton led three Bridgman players in double digits with 12. Cooper Mojsiejenko and Dan Koziel both finished with 10.
