The Christmas Store is open in downtown Cassopolis.

The shop, which contains homemade crafts and baked goods from local merchants, is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays through Christmas.

“We hope to bring the Christmas spirit into downtown,” Mary Hedges said.

The store is being coordinated by Shari Bradke.

Among the homemade items for sale are afghans, scarfs, canned jellies and jams, homemade baked goods, vintage jewelry and unique homemade birdhouses built by Kim Hedges.
